For over 40 years Mt. Calvary Christian Academy has been providing a quality Christian Education to the children of Eastern North Carolina. MCCA is a ministry of Mt. Calvary Free Will Baptist Church. Our school provides high academic standards, and elementary and high school Fine Arts Program and a competitive athletic program all couched in a distinctively Christian atmosphere. Our caring Christian teachers are willing to provide the one-on-one attention your child needs to succeed.

The goal of MCCA is to train the four parts of every child: The Mind, The Soul, The Body, and the Spirit.

The Mind: By maintaining high academic standards through our teachers, curriculum and traditional techniques we provide the student with all the tools they'll need to succeed academically and in the work place.

The Soul: It is our goal that every student is "born - again" with a saving knowledge through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Body: Through Physical Education and Health classes, athletics and other social activities we aim to train students to respect themselves and others.

The Spirit: When one truly sees him/herself as God sees them, then they are free to develop a healthly self-opinion or self-esteem. In all our training and education we want to teach the students to imitate the Spirit of Jesus Christ through humility and servanthood.

One of the staples of Mt. Calvary Christian Academy is its reading program. Our students learn to read in 5 year old kindergarten and then build on that for the remainder of their schooling. We firmly believe that the better a student can read, the better student they will be in every subject.

Our Library exists to provide quality books to enable the student to use for class work, research and for just the enjoyment of reading.

Each class has an assigned Library time every week where they can go and spend quality time in our library.

We want our Library to be a growing Library. Therefore, we accept new books all the time and we are constantly on the lookout for good, quality books to add to our Library.
