For over 40 years Mt. Calvary Christian Academy has been providing a quality Christian Education to the children of Eastern North Carolina. Our school provides high academic standards, and elementary and high school Fine Arts Program and a competitive athletic program all couched in a distinctively Christian atmosphere. The goal of MCCA is to train the four parts of every child: The Mind, The Soul, The Body, and the Spirit.

The Mind: By maintaining high academic standards through our teachers, curriculum and traditional techniques we provide the student with all the tools they'll need to succeed academically and in the work place.

The Soul: It is our goal that every student is "born - again" with a saving knowledge through faith in Jesus Christ.

The Body: Through Physical Education and Health classes, athletics and other social activities we aim to train students to respect themselves and others.

The Spirit: When one truly sees him/herself as God sees them, then they are free to develop a healthly self-opinion or self-esteem. In all our training and education we want to teach the students to imitate the Spirit of Jesus Christ through humility and servanthood.
